  21.     I am curious - I have a generic 14.4 modem set for 57,600, Trumpet Winsock
  22. ver 2.1f with a PPP connection {MTU 576, MSS 536, RWIN 2144} , and am using
  23. the latest version of WS_FTP. I regularly appear to get download speeds as
  24. high as 11-16Kbps.  Does this sound a little high for a 14.4 modem?  Is
  25. WS_FTP correcly reflecting an accurate speed? I might mention that
  26. sometimes the displayed speed drops to as low as "3kbps" .
